The meeting stressed that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the CPPCC working conference put forward new requirements for the development of the CPPCC in the new era. To strengthen and improve the work of the special committee, we should firmly hold the right direction, take a clear political stand, strengthen the "Four Consciousness", firm the "four self-confidence" and achieve the "two maintenance". We should pay attention to two-way efforts, while doing a good job in providing advice and resources, we should organize and carry out in-depth consultation activities to widely gather consensus, so as to lay a solid foundation for public opinion and Society for the implementation of major policies and decisions of the party and the state. We should give prominence to the quality orientation, and run the improvement of quality and efficiency through the whole process and all aspects of research, proposals, conference organization and services, contact with members of different sectors, cohesion and dissemination of consensus, and reflection of social situation and public opinion.
