Some people say that the value of museums lies not in what they own, but in what they do. This year, the Palace Museum held for the first time the "Chinese Old-fashioned Palace Museum celebrates the New Year". 150 old-fashioned enterprises from 10 provinces and cities such as Shandong, Beijing, Jiangsu and Anhui participated in the exhibition. People tasted traditional snacks and special delicacies with distinctive flavors, watched ingenious products and unique skills with local characteristics, and understood the profound old-fashioned culture. Facts have proved that Chinese museums are strengthening innovation and approaching the public in keeping with the times. They can become the first-class international level and the golden business card of national culture.

The criterion of a museum lies not only in the abundance of its collection, but also in the extent to which it is integrated into people's lives. It is also a trend for museums to integrate tangible cultural heritage and intangible intangible intangible cultural heritage, so that traditional culture can infiltrate contemporary life. Historical relics are not only the precipitation of history and the aging of time, but also the inheritance of cultural blood, which is closely related to people's life and the times we live in. Museums make good use of high-quality cultural resources and continue traditions with abundant activities. That is to make the cultural relics collected in the Forbidden Palace, the heritage displayed on the vast land and the words written in ancient books alive, so that people can touch the context of Chinese culture, feel the charm of Chinese culture, and absorb the essence of Chinese culture.

Behind the museum craze is the return of traditional culture from the social to the individual level, reflecting people's cultural psychology of returning to the original. Chinese traditional festivals, such as the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, gather the way of life of our ancestors living in harmony with nature and embody the wisdom of Chinese people in looking at the world. By visiting museums, people commemorate traditional festivals, touch traditional culture and feel the flow of culture. They have a clearer understanding of the connotation and extension of Chinese excellent traditional culture, and have more cultural confidence in learning from the past and the present.

"Excellent Chinese traditional culture is our deepest cultural soft power, and it is also the cultural fertile soil for socialism with Chinese characteristics." In museums, people feel the pulse of tradition and see the direction of the future. Fortunately, more public cultural services in the future will activate tradition and let traditional culture shine into the hearts of more people.
