Chinese President Xi Jinping accepted the submission of credentials by the new ambassadors of seven countries in China in the afternoon of 18th in the Great Hall of the People.

       Beijing in winter is sunny and warm. On the steps outside the North Gate of the Great Hall of the People, the ceremonial soldiers were arranged on both sides of the red carpet. The trumpeter sounded the welcome horn, and the ambassadors arrived one after another. They climbed up the steps and entered the Beijing Hall. Before the "bird's-eye view of Beijing", the envoys presented their national letters to Xi Jinping in turn. Xi shook hands with them and took pictures with them for remembrance. The seven new ambassadors to China are: Spanish Ambassador to China De Scaliar, Somali Ambassador to China Avalle, Suriname Ambassador to China Chen Jiahui, Georgian Ambassador to China Karandia, Brazilian Ambassador to China Valle, Madagascar Ambassador to China Radhafi Mandinbi, Iranian Ambassador to China Keshawar Zzad.

       Xi Jinping welcomed envoys from all countries to China and asked them to convey sincere greetings and good wishes to their leaders and people. Xi Jinping stressed that this year marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up, and we will carry it through to the end. China is ready to strengthen friendly cooperation with all countries and build a "one belt and one road" initiative to push bilateral relations to a new stage and make greater contributions to world peace and common development of mankind. The Chinese government will provide convenience and support for the ambassadors to perform their duties. I hope you will make positive contributions to enhancing bilateral relations and friendship between China and the countries concerned.

       The envoys conveyed their Leaders'cordial greetings to President Xi Jinping, congratulated China on the successful convening of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up this morning, and highly praised the important speech delivered by President Xi Jinping at the conference. They said that China's adherence to reform and opening up has brought great opportunities to the world. Countries will continue to support and actively participate in China's reform and opening up process and jointly promote "one belt, one road" international cooperation. During their tenure, they will actively contribute to enhancing friendly exchanges and cooperation between their respective countries and China.
