       Xia Baolong was elected as the Secretary General of the Thirteenth National Committee of the CPPCC and elected 300 members of the Thirteenth National Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.

       The average age of the newly elected chairman and vice chairperson of the CPPCC is 64 years. Among the vice presidents, 11 members of the Communist Party, 13 non Chinese, 4 ethnic minorities and 2 women. The average age of the newly elected standing committee was 59.3 years, of which 195 were non Chinese, 65%, 33 of ethnic minorities and 39 women.
