CR929 remote wide body airliner 1:1 unveiled its debut for the first time

       At the 12th China International Aerospace and Aerospace Exposition, CR929 long-range wide-body airliner showed its prototype at 1:1 for the first time. At 9 o'clock yesterday morning, the audience in front of the China Merchant Flight exhibition area had lined up as a "long dragon", looking forward to seeing the real size of CR929 "tall upper" cabin. It is reported that CR929 plans to deliver the market in 2025 -2027.

       CR929 long-range wide-body passenger aircraft is a major strategic cooperation project between Chinese and Russian enterprises in the field of high-tech cooperation. It is reported that the CR929 project is currently being carried out in an orderly manner, and is in the preliminary design stage as well as potential suppliers and equipment selection stage, which will be completed by the end of 2019. The CR929 demonstration prototype combines the product design experience of China Commercial Airlines ARJ21 new regional aircraft and C919 large passenger aircraft. The public can experience this new generation of wide-body aircraft integrating Chinese and Russian elements.

       The ratio of the CR929 remote wide body aircraft display prototype to the real aircraft is 1:1. The prototype is 22 meters long, 5.9 meters wide and 6.5 meters high. The Beijing Morning Post reporter entered the prototype and saw that the prototype mainly displayed the cockpit and cabin of the aircraft. Among them, there are 2 rows of first class, 3 row business class and 4 row economy class.

       "The cabin should feel at home for passengers. Double passageways make people feel more spacious and comfortable." Li Kai, deputy dean of Shanghai Aircraft Design Research Institute of China Merchant Airlines, told Beijing Morning Post that CR929 first class cabin was "high-end luxury" and that the door of the seat could be closed to form a private space. "The partition between the two seats can be lifted and landed, which is suitable for different scenarios of passengers'rest and chat." The screen in front of passengers is a 32-inch 3D curved surface screen, which can be projected by mobile phone through wireless connection. Passengers have more choices and are no longer restricted by the program set on the plane. Passengers can also charge wireless phones.

       "The prototype is intuitively displayed in front of the public, so that the public experience and put forward good suggestions, in the follow-up design process to further optimize and improve." Li Kai said that the CR929 plan will be delivered to the market in 2025 -2027.

       Scene lighting mode in cabin

       According to Zhao Wen, the driver of Shanghai Aircraft Design Research Institute of China Commercial Airlines, the "anti-fish bone" design is used in the business cabin, which can make passengers lie down 180 degrees in space and make long-distance travel more comfortable. The small table can adjust the distance according to the need, and the hidden reading lamp can adjust its angle according to the reading posture. Economy class seats are the layout of 3+3+3.

       First-class cabin canceled the top suitcase, the business class and economy class suitcases on the prototype were equipped with electric opening and closing buttons to "reduce the load" for the crew. Intelligent scuttle can also realize atomization and light transmission through buttons to meet the needs of the aircraft. "The real machine in the future should be the same intelligent porthole as Boeing 787, and can set its own translucent colors."

       The suspension panel increases the scene lighting and echoes the overall cabin lighting. Boarding mode, blue sky and white cloud mode, dinner mode... In different modes, the lighting lamp changes with the flow, bringing comfortable visual experience, which is very cool.

       Cockpit using China Beidou navigation system

       The prototype embodies the first-class cockpit concept design of CR929 aircraft, advanced integrated design of avionics equipment, and personalized cockpit layout. According to Dong Wenjun, deputy director of the Human Factor Engineering and Simulation Evaluation Room of the Cockpit Department of Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute of China Commercial Airlines, the CR929 cockpit of the Sino-Russian wide-body aircraft adopts the classic two-man cockpit layout. The cockpit adopts the advanced design concept of "silent cockpit". That is to say, under normal flight conditions, the aircraft will not "disturb" the pilots. The switch warning instructions and sound warning systems of each system remain silent. Only when the system is abnormal, the corresponding prompts will be issued to the pilots. A comfortable and quiet flight environment.

       The design idea of cockpit interior decoration comes from the design language of "hexagonal honeycomb". "Hexagon" implies the meaning of "stability" and "firmness". With smooth chamfering transition in detail, it embodies the Chinese philosophical thought of "softness in rigidity and firmness in softness". In terms of color design, warm white and brownish main colors are elegant and modern.

       Technically, the cockpit has used China's own Beidou navigation system. In addition, there are scenes guidance technology and scene enhancement technology. The scene guidance technology can guide pilots to slide safely under low visibility. Scene enhancement technology, which integrates external terrain data acquisition and fusion into HUD, increases the safety of pilots flying aircraft.
