On the afternoon of the 8th, the first domestic general-purpose cloud operating system, Anchao OS 2020, appeared, taking the lead in supporting multi-brand servers at home and abroad, fully adapting to domestic chips, operating systems and middleware, and successfully completing various national and industry certifications.

       Operating system, often referred to as OS, is the core and cornerstone of computer system. Comparing with PC and mobile operating system, cloud computing operating system is more complex. It is based on server, storage, network and other basic hardware resources, PC operating system, middleware, database and other basic software, and manages a large number of basic hardware and software resources.

       Speaking of universality, Xu Guangbin, chairman and President of Huayun Data Group, the research and development unit of the operating system, told Sci-tech Daily, "It is not for a cloud, but for every cloud. It is a large, small and beautiful cloud OS."

       This "vendor-free lock-in" feature will make the cloud operating system different from the previous cloud operating system released by other domestic enterprises, and will lay a friendly foundation for the establishment of the ecological system.

       In recent years, China has promulgated a series of important policy outlines to make cloud computing more clear in the application scenarios of industry, finance, telecommunications, transportation, education and so on. In July 2019, China's four ministries and commissions jointly formulated the "cloud computing services security assessment method", which not only checks the network security risks brought by cloud computing services, but also strengthens the confidence of Party and government organs, key information infrastructure operators to migrate business and data to cloud service platform.

       Tan Ruizhong, co-president and chief technology officer of Huayun Data Group, said: "Now the cloudy world is generally recognized, but private clouds were once considered a false proposition. Private clouds could hardly be seen in the Chinese market until 2013. IDC data show that China's private cloud holdings exceed 60%, and in 2018, the private cloud-related infrastructure market grew by nearly 50%.

       Nowadays, private cloud has become a particularly active main channel. The large number of adoption by relevant government departments and enterprises in China has made private cloud industry gradually move towards market segmentation.

       However, the early taste of government or enterprises to go through a complex project process before they can run the cloud business, "turnkey project" at this time will be very popular.

       Xu Guangbin said: "The government and industry customers want cloud computing to solve practical problems, but also hope that the deployment is not too complex, like mobile phones and PC operating systems to be as easy to use. Just like Windows comes out of the box, when partners pre-install the cloud operating system, government and corporate customers can have cloud OS when they open the box.
