The decision of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee pointed out that we should adhere to the harmonious coexistence of human and nature, adhere to the ecological environment protection system of respecting nature, conforming to nature and protecting nature, and improve the source prevention, process control, damage compensation and accountability. To carry out the concept of green development and build a beautiful China, we must promote the formation of green development and life style in respect of nature, in conformity with nature and in protection of nature, so that the sky, the earth and the water are clear and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and make a good ecological environment the growth point of people's happy life.

       Respect nature. Marxism holds that man lives by nature. Human beings produce, live and develop in the interaction with nature. Human beings come from nature and must respect and revere nature. In the living space of human beings, social system, economic system and natural system are combined into complex ecosystem through human activities. Only when each system adapts to each other and the input and output balance, the whole complex ecosystem can achieve a stable virtuous cycle. On the contrary, the lack of due respect and awe for nature, focusing on demand rather than investment, development rather than protection, and utilization rather than restoration, will destroy the nature and the balance of the complex ecosystem. Man's harm to nature will eventually hurt himself. To form a green development mode and life style, we must respect nature, resolutely abandon the growth mode that damages or even destroys the ecological environment, accelerate the formation of a spatial pattern, industrial structure, production mode and life style that saves resources and protects the environment, limit economic activities and human behaviors within the limits that natural resources and ecological environment can bear, and leave rest and health for the natural ecology Time and space for rest.

       Conform to nature. General secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "Shanshui Lintian lake is a life community. The lifeblood of man is in Tian, Tian's lifeblood is in water, the lifeblood of water is in the mountains, the lifeblood of the mountain is in the soil, the lifeblood of the earth is in the tree". Nature is the mother of life. Man and nature are the community of life. If man wants to develop, he must conform to nature. More than 5000 years of Chinese civilization has given birth to rich ecological concepts. The Chinese nation has always attached great importance to the realization of harmonious coexistence of human and nature in conformity with nature. "Laozi" said: "people law the earth, the earth law the heaven, the heaven law the way, the Tao law the nature." "Mencius" says: "when farming is not violated, the grain cannot be eaten; when the number of fishs does not enter the pool, the fish and turtle cannot be eaten; when the weight of an axe enters the forest, the wood cannot be used." "Xunzi" wrote: "when the plants are flourishing, the axes will not enter the mountains and forests, will not die, will never grow." These ancient philosophers' thoughts all contain the ecological wisdom which moves according to the natural law. Practice shows that the best way for human beings to get along with nature is to conform to the laws of nature, to adopt a scientific, reasonable and sustainable attitude in the use of natural resources, and not to arbitrarily destroy the nature, otherwise the ultimate punishment is human beings themselves.

       Protect nature. General secretary Xi Jinping stressed, "we need to have beautiful scenery and Jinshan Yinshan. It's better to have green water and green mountains than golden mountains and silver mountains, and green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains. " In the final analysis, the effectiveness of ecological environment protection depends on the economic structure and economic development mode. The relationship between ecological environment protection and economic development is not contradictory but dialectical. Economic development should not be the pursuit of natural resources and ecological environment, and ecological environment protection should not be the pursuit of economic development. In fact, to protect the ecological environment is to protect productivity and to improve the ecological environment is to develop productivity. To protect and develop in the process of development, we must unswervingly protect the "golden rice bowl" of green water and green mountains, develop characteristic industries with natural advantages, and expand the green economy according to local conditions. On the one hand, we need to accelerate the formation of a green development mode. By adjusting the economic structure and energy structure, we need to optimize the layout of land and space development, foster and expand energy-saving and environmental protection industries, clean production industries and clean energy industries, and promote the circular links between production systems and life systems.
