Xiao Yaqing pointed out that the Paris agreement is a major achievement in the joint efforts of the world to tackle climate change. According to the principle of "common but differentiated", carbon emission countries should take the international responsibility first. As a big developing country, although efforts to increase emission reduction will increase the cost of China's development, China will unswervingly safeguard the global climate governance process and promote global green, low-carbon and sustainable development.

       Bedyke thanked the State Council, the SASAC for years of support for the World Business Council for sustainable development.
